FC Creates supports many different types of projects at Foundation Communities. We work with  our residents and clients, staff members, and local artists to create artwork, host events, and more. Learn more about some of our current projects below!

Community Art

Hope Mural at Garden Terrace

Residents at Garden Terrace chose a concept and design elements for a mural to celebrate their community. Artist Bryana Iglesias from Imagine Art used their ideas in the design for a two-piece mural that will be completed by the community in Spring 2022. Click here to learn more.

Community Art

"Our Many Paths Home" at Laurel Creek

Local artist Russell Freeland create the design concept for "Our Many Paths Home," which celebrates personal stories and new beginnings at Laurel Creek, a multi-family property that opened in late 2021. During the first part of 2022, residents will add personal touches to the design and paint this piece of artwork, which will welcome people to the Leasing Office. Click here to learn more.

Arts + Health

COVID-19 Vaccine Art Contest

FC Creates is teaming up with FC's Health Initiatives team to create a new health education campaign featuring artwork by FC residents of all ages! Winners will see their work in print and social media along with information about the COVID-19 vaccine. Winners will be announced in March 2022!

Community Partnership

Imagine Art

Imagine Art empowers artists with disabilities to become creative change-makers. In Spring 2022, artists-in-residents from Imagine Art will begin hosting creative workshops for adults living in FC's permanent supportive housing communities. Stay tuned for updates coming soon!
